Fun In Broadway

The Home Buddies is out on broadway?

Theatrical acts never fade its supremacy on stage. Watchers continue to patronize the shows in theaters despite the emergence of filmed movies. Broadway tickets are effortlessly selling like pancakes. Why? Certainly, the entertainment that each show brings is remarkable.

Live performances give an outstanding impression to audience. Actors have no room for obvious gaffes as there are no take twos or directors cutting the scene. Drop your jaw in awe as you see the extravagance of the costumes and props used in each plot — from the tiny dress pins of the actresses to the hairy overalls of a moving lioness.

Taking the musical plays, you will admire how perfectly the actors deliver the lines or the lyrics hitting the right notes and pair it with the appropriate expression of emotions. Everything is turned into a spectacular sight.

Travel to New York will never be complete without seeing a stageplay on the Broadway. Choose your preference whether it be a musical, comedy or a simple play. You may also want to witness how the characters from your favorite book brought into life. It may be costly than a regular movie pass but the treat is superb. Grab your ticket now. Get dressed to enter the carpeted theater and keep you eyes from a blink

Ten Months Of Happiness

Pehpot shares her happiness in celebrating Sati's 10th months..

Can you imagine that? It has been ten months since I gave birth to her (OK ten months last Sept 8). The point is, time flies so fast, more than a year ago, I was this very pregnant mom who cried her heart out in SM Megamall's bathroom upon knowing that it is indeed a girl. And now, this little girl is forever making us happy, her antics, her smile.. everything about her, we love so much.

At ten months, she can now stand alone for awhile (about a minute), she can clap her hands, blow a flying kiss. She also knows how to kiss mommy or her brothers or even Daddy. And she sure do knows how to wake us up by slapping our face. She waves bye bye whenever she see people leaving but hates it when his dad is in his Polo shirt. She's ten months and she's more adorable than ever. Oh, she got 4 teeth now!

Sati clapping her hands

Bye bye

flying kiss!

And who says she can't eat ice cream on her day?

see how big her play pen is, even her brothers and their play mates can join her...

One morning, I woke up and she was not on my side. It's a good thing that we only sleep on mattress, if not she would have fall on our bed. Oh there she was on my laptop table, pretending to be like Mommy. Maybe it a few more years, she will be taking most of my blogs, or create one for herself.

She's really getting bigger everyday..

Our Homeschool Portfolio

Chris shares with us their home schooling experiences..

We have finished our first quarter grades last month and we are on the middle of the 2nd quarter now. We have finished our formal lessons in Science and in Social Studies already. She only needs to work on the output needed for each subjects and afterwards, she would need to collate everything and put in a single folder. Kyla will later create nice presentation covers to indicate what she has learned the whole quarter. I think creating a portfolio is a good way to remember and highlight what she have learned the whole quarter.

job well done Mommy Chris, go congratulate Kyla for doing well on her first quarter. CLICK!

Pause

The Girl talks about taking a break.. which means to her.. blogging.. read on!

Have you wished something so good won’t stop happening or at least the time could pause for a while? I do. I wish that the long weekend would go on until next week. Just enough time to get me some rest I need. We spent Friday and Saturday at the mall and at MIL’s house.

Today after the mass, husband asked me if id like to go to MIL’s again. I declined the offer. Told him I need to rest. Rest for me means blogging while reading stuffs online while watching entertainment news by hosts that wear adult halloween costumes in September. They seem weird. But hey, i need to pause. Ok, would turn the tv off now, this laptop to standby and meditate.

See you in a while…

So Much To Learn, So Little Time

And just like every one else, WAHMaholic thinks we need more time.. petition for 48 hours a day is ON!

I am lagging behind on things that I am supposed to be learning. Like making Twitter backgrounds. I have already read several articles on what sizes to make them from and have in fact visualized how my own Twitter background is going to look, but so far I am stuck in the visualization part. I also want to publish this tutorial on a Google widget but I have yet to come around to learning it, so there’s nothing to post yet. I have uninstalled Photoshop a while back and have been thinking of installing it again so I can learn it more, but again, I’m stuck at the thinking part.

Sometimes I wish there was a big book of tutorials that only consists of those stuff that I want to learn how to do. I can only imagine how hard it would be to put it all together, even by VeloBind, because I think the amount of information that I want to stuff into my brains would decimate an entire forest if printed on paper. Okay maybe I’ll just stick to digital content.

Better Prepared Than Sorry

The WAHMAHOLIC talks about LSAT..is she taking up law now? Find out!

If there is anything I learned within the confines of the educational institution, it is the importance of being prepared for anything. As a student, the thing that one needs to be prepared for the most are examinations, whether minor or major. My college entrance examination results was a laugh compared to usual standards, mainly because the mathematics question are one too many. The test was certainly not lsat prep standard. No, not nearly as intensive as that, but if I were Superman, then math is my Kryptonite.

I should have prepared better for the questions I know I will find difficult, but I was fresh off a 20 students per class college back then, and I was riding on my always-on-top-of-the-class status. Silly, I know, but that’s youth arrogance for you. The results are not that bad, really, it’s just below what I normally get in exams. My ego took a beating when I received the results, even if the girl in the university office who handed it to me commented about my score being higher than average. Yeah, but not on my average it isn’t. I immediately put that behind me, and thankfully, I was able to redeem myself by being on the dean’s list on almost all semesters on that school.

But then again, an important lesson learned: do not be too sure of yourself when it comes to tests. Especially one as huge as LSAT. If you have to take prep courses then so be it, if only to be assured of getting a score that you will be proud to show off to your friends and relatives.

Git ideas on how to be prepared for tests or exams? Share it with the wahmaholic here.

The Home Buddies is out on the mall? Yeah, you read it right.. go find out the Megamall September 2010 Sale she found..

No, it’s not a mall wide sale. But you could check out a lot of stores there starting from 20 % to 70% off! And if they did have a Sale in their other branches (likeShangrila mall), most of them would have the same Sale items at Megamall.

The shop picture is taken from Toby’s Shangrila Branch, but Megamall branch also have the same 50% Anniversary Sale.

Sanrio in front of Max’s Restaurant (5th floor Mega A, was it on the fifth?). Wasn’t able to check this one out. But maybe most (if not all) of their stuff are on Sale.

I’m not familiar with this boutique (Cache Cache Paris), but I really dig that dress on their show window, and this is the one I’m talking about. 20 percent to 70 percent off! As if I know how much their stuff actually are.

Linea Oumo and Linea Italia – Buy 3 items and the get the lowest priced item for One Peso!

Pitt & Jolie Bought $40M Villa

The Beauty queen Gene strikes again, read on her post about Pitt & Jolie Bought $40M Villa

It’s the couple’s third home aside from their Los Angeles pad where they often stay and their $3.5 million New Orleans house. The whopping $40 villa is located in the hills of Valpolicealla, just north of Verona, Italy. It is reported that Jolie fell in love with the area so they decided to make the investment. Among the amenities of the villa is a home theater (*sigh*), seven bathrooms (Okay. Not envious, one bathroom is enough for me), a gym (cool!) one indoor pool and one outdoor pool (gotta have an indoor pool) , a jacuzzi (oh yeah), and fifteen bedrooms (where they buy mattresses, the business must be flourishing) in the 18,000 square foot space.

And to the haters who do nothing but criticize the couple for their purchase, do you even have the right? A couple of things here: it’stheir hard-earned money, not yours and they have donated more to charity than almost all of us will make in several lifetimes. What have any of you haters done for the world, except make this world a nastier place to live in? That’s just jealousy, and lack of anything else to do. When someone else is doing great in life and not at anyone’s expense, try finding it in your heart to be happy for them. It’s good for your health.
